Controlled burn today at Bayard Conservation Area in Clay County

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 20, 2016 -- The St. Johns River Water Management District is conducting a 121-acre prescribed burn today at the Bayard Conservation Area at the end of Bayard Road in Clay County. The purpose of the burn is to maintain fire-dependent ecosystems and to manage wildland fuel loads.
