The District is anticipating opening all navigational locks, including Apopka Lock and Dam, on Oct. 12 following a final safety assessment.

The District has reopened its offices today, with staff actively conducting safety assessments of District-managed lands. Some properties are expected to reopen as early as this afternoon, depending on the results of those evaluations.

Due to significant flooding, the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive will remain closed until further notice.

The District anticipates reopening its navigational locks on Saturday, Oct. 12, following final safety inspections.
