Burrell Lock to remain open through 2024

Burrell Lock will remain open for public use.

PALATKA, Fla., May 29, 2024 — The St. Johns River Water Management District announces a delay in the construction upgrades at the Burrell Lock. Initially scheduled to begin on June 3 and be completed by December 2024, construction is now expected to begin in 2025.
