District Governing Board to meet July 14
PALATKA, Fla., July 7, 2020 — The St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting on July 14 both electronically and in-person. Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued guidelines limiting the size of public gatherings to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The public can watch the meeting online and offer comment by phone. The boardroom will be temporarily opened at a reduced capacity to provide an in-person option for providing comment. Space is limited.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2020
WHERE: Governing Board room, 4049 Reid St., Palatka
HOW: To view the July board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/july-streaming. The live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
The public can view the meeting through the livestream at sjrwmd.com and offer comment by phone by calling 386-329‑4500 or toll-free at 800-451‑7106 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. District staff will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.
In-person attendees will be asked to self-monitor for signs of illness or exposure to COVID-19 before entering and follow Putnam County’s guidelines on face coverings and social distancing, and wear a mask when entering.
