District hosts Splash Night for students at City Church Academy

MAITLAND, Fla., Jan. 22,2016 — The St. Johns River Water Management District is hosting Splash Night on Jan. 26 for students, parents and teachers at City Church Academy in Sanford. The event uses interactive activities to teach students about water supply and natural systems with a focus on science,technology, engineering and math learning.

During Splash Night, students create water cycle bracelets, build a food chain, explore the layers of Florida’s aquifer and play the web-based educational program The Great Water Odyssey.
